"Do You Love Me, Feed MY Sheep

Rector - Charlie Nichols

Verse: John 21:16

Again, Jesus said, “Simon son of John, do you love me?”

He answered, “Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.”

Jesus said, “Take care of my sheep.”

Weekend Song:
The Lord's Prayer - Matt Maher

Jesus came to earth to fulfill the will of his heavenly Father and to save the world from sins. He came to seek and to save the lost. He came to be the propitiation for our sins and the sins of the world, and to make the way for people to be right with God. Jesus did this through his profound teachings and kindness shown to everyone.

After His resurrection, Jesus asked Simon three times, “Do you love me” feed my sheep. Jesus was showing his love and forgiveness for Simon that had denied knowing him three times out of fear. Furthermore, Jesus was instructing him that he must further the kingdom of God through discipleship.

Men, the world needs us to step up our game! We need to step out of our comfort zone and share the word of God with strangers, enemies, friends, and our loved ones. Our mission is aligned with the mission of Tres Dias, to build Christian leadership and share the words of Jesus. As we learn to exhibit the love that Jesus exemplified during His time on earth, we will become the Shepherds the world so desperately needs.

As we prepare for TBTD #49, I welcome you to be part of this passionate, life-filling experience.

Men it is time to show your love and start feeding sheep!

Now Here

Rector - Mindy Bowman

Verse: John 4:23

“But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him.”

Weekend Song:
Now Here (Live) - Red Rocks Worship

“But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him.” Jesus is speaking to the Samaritan Woman at the well in John 4:23. He has just told her about His everlasting water, and she has been completely transparent in her confessions about her life and asking for this spring of water to well up in her, so she won’t ever thirst again.

And just like that, the Samaritan Woman went from nowhere to Now Here. She became a true worshiper of God. She was forever changed in that one moment with Jesus. So much had she changed, that she then ran into town and told everyone she encountered about what she heard and Who she met.

Because of her, many people in the town believed in Jesus just through her testimony alone. She took her newfound well of water and immediately started pouring it out on everyone she passed. Those who were a bit skeptical, still came to believe because of Jesus’s words.

It didn’t matter whether the townspeople believed her or not right away. All that mattered is that she shared the water that was shared with her.

We are all capable and empowered by our love of God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit of having that Now Here moment every day. It doesn’t always have to be something big like saving an entire town either. In my experience, it’s been in the smaller things when sharing an encouraging word, a smile, a small bit of grace, or a little bit of mercy to myself or others, that has made the biggest impact on my life. It’s in the act of being faithful and pouring out what I’ve received.

It’s never the wrong time and it’s never the wrong place in our lives to take that moment and pour out His living water for others or even for ourselves as we worship Him in spirit and truth.

I’m excited about what God has in store for the team and candidates of TBTD #49. I ask you to prayerfully consider joining me on this journey and I pray you will find your Now Here moments as we walk this path together.

With many blessings,

Mindy Bowman
